Musical Day With Children

 

The Social Service Club, in collaboration with the DWIT Music Club, conducted an event 'Musical Day with Children' on 27th August 2022. We spent some time with the children at the 'Sarita Bhawan' orphanage where we played games and sang songs for the children.

The selected participants assembled at the college premises at 11:15 a.m and departed at around 11:30 a.m. We reached the orphanage at noon. Altogether there were 9 children and their ages ranged from 8 to 15 years old. We then gathered the children in a room and sat together in a circle. The excited children introduced themselves to us and so did we. After the introduction was over, we sang songs for them and they enthusiastically sang along with us. Then we played a couple of games namely  'Antakshyari' and 'Truth or Dare'. They enjoyed the games a lot and we got to learn more about them. Then at around 2:30 p.m it was time for us to leave. Before we departed, we gave the children copies and stationeries as a farewell gift.
