Happy Valentine's week!  The DWIT  Social   Service  Club ,  The   Music Club , and  The   Artistas Club  have once again planned a special event for you to make this season of love even more memorable and warm. Join us for a  Musical Valentine's  on  17th February 2023(Friday)  from  5 pm  onwards in the  DWIT courtyard . This event will be a Valentine-themed open mic where we will be setting the mood with beautiful songs by some singers and musicians of DWIT. We will also be having a conditional song session where the audience will be prompted to sing a relevant song for a given situation. Anyone from the audience is welcome to participate in the musical performances. Hello Everyone, Following the completion of three stages of the cloth donation campaign by the Social Service Club, clothes were successfully donated to those in need. On January 29, 2023, the club planned a distribution program to give away accumulated clothing to people working in Itta Bhatta, Harisiddhi. Nine individuals, including club members and participants, offered their time for the event, which was assisted by the parent of a member. At 10 a.m., we boarded the vehicle from the Deerwalk Complex with the clothes the club had previously collected. We picked up our coordinators and a couple more bags of clothing when we got to the Kantipur Brick Factory around 11:30 a.m. We positioned the van so that we could see the factory there. The area ended up being considerably greater than we had planned, and we were amazed to see that humans and horses did all the work instead of some mechanized machinery in today's world. Hello Everyone, Christmas , according to  Norman Vincent Peale , is a time for joy, giving and sharing, laughter, and coming together with family and friends.  To promote this tradition,  The Social Service Club  collaborated with  The Artistas Club  to organize a " Secret Santa " event. The event lasted a week, from Monday, December  19th  to Friday, December  23rd. The spirit of giving and sharing was instilled in the members of the DWIT family, who could purchase handmade cards made by our members. There was a stall in the lounge where cards could be purchased and messages could be delivered. Club members successfully relayed the message to the relevant people. We are very obliged towards the enthusiasm and support given by our very own DWIT family. The fund raised in this event  will be used for a  good cause. Here are some glimpses of the event:

With Christmas in five days,  The   Artistas Club  in collaboration with  The Social Service Club  is bringing in the festive vibes with  Secret Santa Week  from  20th  to  23rd December   2022 . You can buy cards from a wide selection and address them to someone special while being completely anonymous. Starting today, you can find us selling affordable Christmas cards at a  stall on the college ground .  We will be selling various cards priced according to the effort and material taken to make them. We will also be selling chocolates separately that you can add to your anonymous cards.   Warm greetings to everyone,   This year, there is a huge demand for all types of  blood  in the  blood  banks. After realizing there was a constant need for  blood , the DWIT Social Service Club organized  Blood   Donation   2022  on October 21,  2022  (Friday), on the DWIT premises, in collaboration with the Lions & Leo Club of Kathmandu Chabahil city and with technical support from Grande Hospital.   There was an overwhelming response from the students, faculties, and members of the Deerwalk.  The event started at 1 pm. All the arrangements were made by the volunteers and club members. The willing  donors  who attended to  donate  their  blood  had to fill out a form with general information first, and then doctors examined their  blood  pressure and physical condition.
